Where to EAT in Colorado Springs, CO
This is a Danish restaurant housed in an old elementary school and named for smørrebrød, the open-faced sandwich on rye bread. It's also a good place to hear jazz and enjoy cocktails (such as the Scandi punch, $15 for a carafe). I recommend the Baltic (tuna salad) and the Trondheim (cheese, cucumbers, and cress) if you are new to smørrebrød. These sammies are essentially flavor and texture explosions made into works of art! You'll probably want 1.5-2 per person, so my husband and I order a trio or quartet and share.
Brew Cheese Northport
Northport is another foodie favorite, with a cute wine bar and other small restaurants. It's also perfect for a walk along the water after a nice meal! If you love cheese or beer, go to Brew Cheese!
Burgers, shakes and beer! What else could you need?!
You can get a small or large! Left is the Ferrea Rocher Shake and right is Monkey business! Both so cute!!
Fairs on Long Island
This is one of the things I look forward to lost as the weather gets nicer. Fairs and carnivals pop up everywhere you go! I also follow them on Facebook to find out when they will be near me!
Thirsty Thursday at Your Mother's House
I have enjoyed all dishes and drinks from this large and lovely establishment! Go with a group of coworkers, your date or a few friends. This place won't disappoint!
Cafe Baci Westbury
One of my favorite Italian spots on Long Island. Great service, environment and portion size!
They were so friendly! The food was so good and we got free welcome drinks! We highly recommend this place near San Marco Square!
Best Peruvian Food, Long Island
We truely enjoy a night out at La Candela in Hicksville. The dish in the picture is a staple in Peru, Lomo Saltado. It's addictive! This can come with steak, chicken or shrimp.
