Is Paris safe for tourists?
Paris is safe. There is no risk wandering around in daytime. But, like in any other big cities, you should be caution of a few things: 1/ Keep your phone, wallet, ID close to you at all time. You don't want to lose your wallet with your ID in it at a restaurant. 2/ If you don't have (want to use) Uber, take cabs with a visible 'taxi' sign on them. Cars without these signs are driven by scammers. 3/ If you go out at night, try to stay in crowded places with big groups of people. French people are friendly, so you shouldn't have any trouble mingling. 4/ In subways, pay close attention to your belongings. 5/ Running in parks in Paris is no trouble.
