I'm thinking of going to Denver maybe this October. What are your favorite (not too touristy) things/places to do there for 2-3 days?
Hi Raphael. If the Rockies are still playing, I'd definitely go to a baseball game. It's a great atmosphere and walking distance from Union Station downtown. Union Station is a great place to get dinner or have a drink. A lot of locals go there when downtown. Red Rocks is a must. It's touristy, but locals run the stairs or go on a hike nearby. Probably too late in the season to see a concert there, but check the schedule. We have a lot of good museums. City Park is the largest park in Denver with a lake. Nice walk around. Lots of good restaurants in the highlands. Try Linger and then go to the ice cream stand. Rocky Mountain National Park is awesome, but entry price got raised, so if too pricey, there a lots of good hikes off 285 or in Brekenridge. Hope that helps
